The sensor is a passive infrared sensor, which detects (monitors) infrared rays (warmth) emitted by the objects that fall into its detection range. The sensor turns on /off the load, connected to it, depending on the change of the thermal background in the detection area. This is why it is not recommended to install the sensor in areas with great temperature amplitude – near air conditioners or heaters. Infrared sensors are normally used as motion sensors. The sensor is designed for buildin-in.
SDMP12 is a PIR sensor with 12/24V DC operating voltage. It has an IP20 protection rate. It tracks the movement(s) in the controlled zone and switches on/off the lighting.
Advantages:
- Operating voltage 12/24V DC;
- Housing made of polycarbonate, characterized with mechanical strength and UV stability;
- Option for building-in solar lighting fixtures;
- Adjustable ambient light threshold and operating time;
- Quick and easy installation due to the compact size;
- Very wide detection angle 360°;
Attention:
- When connecting the sensor make sure the polarity is right;
- PIR sensor tracks the heat emitted from the objects. It is not recommended to install the sensor nearby air conditioners or heating devices.
Usage:
- Offices and stores.
- Administration buildings.
- Hotels and restaurants.
- Home use.
- Camping
